I think you'll find WoW tough to put down after just 10 days. It took me a while to settle on a class that I liked (I started 3 toons right off the bat

) but once you do and get rolling... you just won't want to stop. I didn't really hit a "slow down" point until I got to lvl 25. Then I had a tough time finding a good spot for questing/farming as I had finally outgrown the areas I was familiar with.

Oh, and I got my first PvP kill yesterday. Some NE druid just wandered up and challenged me. I got kinda lucky... I resisted his root spell and proceded top pound him flat, interrupt his heal attempt... GG.

HAH! I just about managed on my own getting through an elite quest, and now I have to get to a hard area in the Silverpine forest... :s

I also gained and spent 2gold in the Auction House on getting a CHEAP Runecloth Bag, as most of them usually sell for 3g a bag.

Later on (Possibly) I will try and get further in the Wetlands and possibly get to Silverpine for the Elite Quest Test of Righteousness

Happy Thanksgiving one and all! If anyone of you WoW players is into RP servers at all, I just started up an Alliance Mage on the new Kirin Tor RP server. I'm finding the mage a lot more fun than my warrior... so much so that I'm giving serious thought to abandoning, or deleting the war.

I still love my guild wars, but i am willing to try wow, $15 a month seems kind of steep, thats nearly as much as a good private server per month for counter strike (bandwidth & space usage etc no comparison). Anyhow, thinking of picking it up on my next paycheck for the hell of it, if it blows i'll just sell my account off for face value.

I have just hit a stumbling block for the first time

As with all RED realms, all of the opposing sides are warned that they are under attack, and you get OWNED REGARDLESS if you just want a flaming quest item in a quest (I want the Smithing Hammer! :'( )

But if anyone can PM me so you're on the European Vashj servers tomorrow, I'll be in Southshore, and look for Wnxomega so you can party me up (gotta be high-elite 'fraid) and I can finish this damn quest once and for all!

I think my warrior is headed for the scrap heap. This mage is just a ton more fun to play... and instances are more fun too because I don't have to spend all my time holding aggro and can actually enjoy myself. But I'll be sure to THANK the warrior who IS holding the aggro off my flimsy robed ass.

Yay! got the rare hammer which is very good for a paladin and also lasts very well until the mid-30s

Just going to do a few more quests then go to the flaming Gnomeregan dungeon/instance and hope for a better rare (possible Epic) when I get enough levels

yeah that hammer u get from the quest at lvl 20. the v something hammer. yeah i got that when i was lvl 22

I met up with a mate from WoW this weekend, went to the cinema with him. We're like old friends lol. It's great, WoW is so sociable. Guild Wars is lonely.

Speaking of sociable... why do people put down RP'ers? I joined an RP server a week ago and I'm having WAY more fun there than I was with any of my other toons. I joined a nice RP guild and I'm having a blast there. And there's even enough of us so that once we reach the endgame instances, we'll have enough people to do some kick ass raiding. Seems like a Win/Win to me.
